Hello lovelies! Have you all thought about what you’re planning to do for International Princess Day? I hope you’ve made some plans, because this post is all about how to prepate for International Princess Day, which is this Sunday, May 5th, 2013.
I’m going to assume that you’ve already given some thought on what your plan is for this day. If not, please go read the post linked above where I list a few ideas on what you can do for your day. Make sure you don’t read on unless you already have an idea of what you want to do!
- Shopping: Make sure you have everything that you will need in your possession. Are you planning on taking a bath? Make sure you have your bath salts, bubble bath, bath oil, Epsom salt or what have you. Want to cook a yummy breakfast? Make sure you have all the ingredients prepared. Want to eat cupcakes outside in the afternoon? Bake or purchase them- maybe even order them specially from a bakery. Want to sew or knit? Make sure you have your supplies. If you’re planning on reading, take a trip to a library or bookstore.
- Cleaning: Nothing is more stressful to me than trying to relax when your living quarters are messy. Make sure that your home, bedroom, or what have you are tidy, so you can relax. Also be sure that whatever outfit you want to wear is clean, and any utensils you’ll need for cooking are clean.
- Pampering: If you’re planning on going out for your Princess Day, maybe to go shopping or go to brunch with friends, you may not have time or want to take the time to pamper yourself. If this is the case, make sure you pamper yourself the night before. Give yourself a manicure and pedicure, exfoliate your whole body, shave if you are so inclined, give yourself a facial, take a bath- the works! Pampering yourself is a wonderful way to celebrate International Princess Day, even if you aren’t doing it on the day of.
- Get Directions: If you’re planning on going somewhere, maybe a shopping center or restaurant, that you’ve never been to or have only been to a few times, you should make sure you have directions to that place beforehand. It’s better to be safe than to be sorry! I don’t know if you feel the same, but for me, getting lost on the way to somewhere is extremely stressful. Wether you do this the “old-fashioned” way and use a map and a pad of paper, or use the internet and print directions, or even look them up and save them on a cell phone, getting directions early can prevent a lot of stress later on.
With all of that being said and done, princesses, I hope you are all dreaming of a wonderfully relaxing International Princess Day! If you decide to write about your day, please share it with me! I would love to compile experiences of this holiday, so that in later years, we can have lots of information and ideas for the holiday, so that next year and the years to come, more princesses from all over the world can celebrate this lovely day.
Have a wonderful weekend lovelies, stay safe, and I will write again soon!
